Who We Are

Great Pyrenees Rescue of Montana is a non profit organization. Our mission is to help find any needy Great Pyrenees in Montana their forever home.

Please note: We are not a shelter. We are a group of volunteers. All of our dogs are fostered in someone's home. The dogs are cared for as one of the family. They are socialized and their personalities and traits are well know by the foster family. Our foster homes are in Whitefish, Bozeman, Helena, Corvallis, Billings, Great Falls and Stevensville.

Adopting a friend

We try to find the best home for our dogs. We want this home to be their forever home. An adoption application is required with a vet reference. A home visit is also done. PERMANENT, SECURE FENCING IS REQUIRED Our adoption donation is $275.00 for our dogs and this money is used to cover vet expense, spay/neuter charges, transport expense and caring for our dogs until they are adopted. A senior dog age 8 or older and our special needs dogs, we ask for $175.00 donation. This adoption donation is lower because you may need more health care for the seniors or special needs. We want them all to find a happy home and to be loved forever. FENCING FOR THIS BREED NEEDS TO BE AT LEAST 5 FOOT HIGH.
NOTE: The electric underground fencing is unacceptable for this breed.

HAPPY ENDINGS

Bear (formerly Bumble) was just left tied outside, mostly forgotten. He has been adopted by a wonderful, loving family. Bear is enjoying all the attention and adores his 'forever' family. He also has a Saint Bernard as his new brother to play with.
